Canvas controls, layout tools, and editing behavior.

• Canvas control barOn-canvas controls for zoom (with 1:1 and Fit presets), background grid toggle, Eye Level guide, snap-to-grid toggle, and frame label toggle.
• Selection & AlignmentClick to select, Shift-click to multi-select, or click-drag a marquee. A single frame aligns to the wall edge or center; multiple ungrouped frames align relative to each other (left, center, right, top, middle, bottom). Center a group of frames: Select the frames and group them (Ctrl + G). Then use the alignment tools to center the entire group on the wall without changing its internal spacing. Select 3 or more frames to also use Distribute — equalize the horizontal or vertical gaps between them in one click. On mobile, select a frame, then tap Select Multiple to add more to the selection — a status bar shows the count with Group/Ungroup and Done. Align and Distribute are also available from the mobile Edit sheet, not just the floating toolbar.
• Context MenuRight-click any frame for Cut/Copy, Lock/Unlock, Group/Ungroup, Auto-Fill, Rotate Photo, Remove Photo, and Delete. Right click the wall to change the background wall texture, paste cut/copied frames, quickly add standard frames, center all frames at eye-level (Pro), or select all frames.
• Floating Toolbar & Resize ModeSelecting one or more frames reveals a toolbar above the selection for quick access to common actions. Select a single frame and enable resize mode from the toolbar to drag any corner or edge handle directly on the canvas. Resize mode requires Pro. Overlapping frames? Use Order in the toolbar to Bring to Front or Send to Back.
• Layout ZonesProDraw rectangular zones on your wall to constrain where Auto-Layout places frames. Useful for targeting a specific area of a large wall.
• Eye Level GuideA horizontal reference line at standard hanging height. Toggle it from the canvas control bar. Center at Eye Level (Pro) snaps your selection to this guide automatically.
• Canvas Icons & LinesWhat the marks on your wall mean. Dashed horizontal line across the wall: the Eye Level Guide, a reference at standard hanging height — toggle it from the canvas control bar. Dashed rectangle on the wall: a Layout Zone, which keeps Auto-Layout placing frames inside it. Dashed box around a frame: the resize outline while resize mode is on. Yellow or red triangle with an exclamation point on a photo: a low-resolution warning — the photo may look soft (yellow) or blurry (red) if printed at that frame size. It looks fine on screen; try a smaller frame, zoom the photo out, or use a higher-resolution photo. See the Print Resolution Guide. Amber outline or STAGED badge: a staged frame parked off the wall (see Staged Frames).
• Show on wallCan't remember where a photo ended up? On desktop, right-click a photo in the Photos panel and choose Show on wall — the canvas jumps to the frames using it. On mobile, tap a placed photo in the Library sheet (with nothing selected) and the wall zooms to its frame.
• Staged FramesA frame sitting on the workspace but not fully on the wall gets an amber outline — plus a small STAGED badge when the frame is big enough to fit it (Wall Objects too). Think of it as your "maybe" pile — park frames beside the wall while you decide, and Auto-Layout can pull them in when you're ready.
